Hi, I can see this is a predominantly German speaking forum so apologies in advance. I have obtained a FeWap 01 LX telephone after a friend shared a picture of one whilst visiting Germany. Phones around the world usually follow the same basic shape but this one caught my eye as its a bit different. I bought one off eBay.de listed as not working, and now its arrived I can confirm it does not work. I have connected the line to lA / lB on the terminal block, but there is no dial tone - just a faint click in the handset. Does anyone know how to go about repairing it? Is there some known issues with these telephones? Thanks Matthew |

Welcome to the forum! I have a FeTap 01LX and it had the same issues. It turned out that the hookswitch was not working. Everything looked just fine but the springs made no contact. Contact cleaning spray and slips of thin cardboard pulled through solved the problem. |
